Screaming fans prompt Justin Bieber to walk off stage

MANCHESTER, England (AP) — It seems even Justin Bieber finds his screaming fans irritating. The pop star walked off the stage during his show in Manchester, England, on Sunday after some fans ignored his request to stop screaming as he was trying to talk to the crowd between songs. Bieber told the crowd that he wanted to be able to say something and the screaming had to stop. When the screaming continued, a frustrated Bieber dropped the microphone as he left the stage. The singer returned several moments later and told the crowd he'd stop talking and just do his musical set, because, he said, "Manchester just can't handle it."

Charlie Puth cancels remainder of tour, citing illness

Charlie Puth is canceling the remainder of his tour due to illness. The singer said on Twitter Sunday that he has been "extremely sick" during the tour and hasn't taken the time he needs to recover. He says "resting and taking time off the road" is the only way he can get better and resume performing. The "Don't Talk Tour" began last month and had been scheduled to run through Nov. 8. Puth hasn't released any information on whether the remaining tour dates will be rescheduled.

Victoria’s Secret takes ‘Angels’ show to home of lingerie

US lingerie giant Victoria's Secret said Monday it will hold its next "Angels" show in Paris, the city that invented the concept. It will be the first time the much-hyped annual lingerie show, which often features big name singers such as Rihanna, Taylor Swift or Justin Timberlake as well as the brand's stable of underwear models, will be held in the French capital. Jay Z, JLo, others to hold concerts for Clinton

WASHINGTON — Jay Z, Katy Perry, Jon Bon Jovi and Jennifer Lopez are staging concerts around the country in support of Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign in the final weeks before Election Day. Clinton's campaign says rapper Jay Z will perform at a Get Out the Vote concert in Cleveland prior to Election Day. The campaign has not yet announced a date for the show. Bon Jovi will headline concerts in Pittsburgh on Thursday and in Tampa, Florida, on Nov. 5. Lopez will appear in Miami on Saturday to encourage Florida voters to back Clinton. Perry will perform in Philadelphia on Nov. 5. The singer of "Roar" headlined a Clinton event in Des Moines, Iowa, last year and performed at this summer's Democratic National Convention.

Jury acquits man of stalking TV star Kendall Jenner

LOS ANGELES  — A jury on Monday acquitted a man of stalking model and reality TV star Kendall Jenner and convicted him of trespassing at her secluded Hollywood Hill home. The jury of seven women and five men returned the verdict against Shavaughn McKenzie after a seven-day trial in which Jenner described her fear at finding McKenzie lurking in her driveway and banging on her car window in August. A defense attorney had urged jurors to reject the stalking charge, saying there was no evidence showing McKenzie intended to cause Jenner fear. McKenzie is scheduled to be sentenced Nov. 10 on the misdemeanor trespassing charge. He could face up to six months in jail but will likely be released because of credits for good behavior. An online petition calling for Facebook to take down the page of the Mocha Uson Blog, which staunchly supports President Rodrigo Duterte, is gaining support from netizens.
