Intruder at supermodel’s California mansion charged

An Australian man who jumped the fence at supermodel Miranda Kerr's Malibu home and allegedly stabbed her security guard was charged Tuesday with attempted murder, prosecutors said. Shaun Haywood, 29, faces further felony counts of aggravated mayhem and assault with a deadly weapon, according to Los Angeles County District Attorney Jackie Lacey. Haywood allegedly broke into the Australian model's ranch on October 14 in an effort to deliver a letter. When confronted by a security guard, the defendant is said to have grabbed the guard's knife and slashed his face, prosecutors said. The guard then shot Haywood. Both the intruder and the security guard were flown to hospital and were left with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Britney warns ad exec for ‘fraudulent’ music video deal

Britney Spears warned an advertising executive who claimed to represent her in a deal with a dating app. TMZ reported that Spears’ lawyer had sent a threatening letter to Adam Kluger for the “fraudulent” deal of negotiating with the dating service Bumble to fund her music video without the singer’s knowledge. The letter stated that Kluger told Bumble he is authorized to represent Spears for the $800,000 deal of placing Bumble’s name throughout the music video. It also said Kluger received $200,000 from Bumble and asked Spears’ label RCA to pay them $450,000 for the promotion. Sky Cable has launched an all-in-one subscription plan that includes Internet, cable and video-on-demand service. Called One Sky, it has content both traditional and new media “so that we can relate to the changing programming habits of most Filipinos,” says the company’s head for consumer product Jaja G. Suarez. While competitors offer similar plans, head of digital Jerome Almirante claim they offer “better experience,” pointing out that their HD channels include “what most Pinoys watch like HBO, NBA Premium and a lot more.” The plan is said to complement the Kapamilya network’s transformation into a digital company. Filipino and Korean acts came together again for the 2016 Philippine-Korea Cultural Exchange Festival held a few days ago at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP). The festival, which ran for five hours, included a concert and a talent competition. The Serotonin Performing Arts Company opened the “Concert For Peace” followed by a medley of Korean folk songs performed by the Seoul National University (SNU) Korean Music Ensemble. The ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra and the Metro Manila Concert Orchestra joined the SNU Korean Music Ensemble onstage playing the Korean classic “Arirang,” under the baton of Gerard Salonga.
