GMA Network has been posting trailers of the dubbed DOTS since April. However, the netizens are getting impatient as to when will it really air on the said network.

A Facebook user, Joanna Viray, said on GMA Asianovela post “Naman. Puro na lang abangan. Nung April pa kami nakaabang hanggang ngayon wala pa ring exact date kung kailan maguumpisa….”
While netizens cheered that their favorite drama will be aired locally and dubbed in their mother tongue, they have expressed their dismay on the new name the network has given to its male protagonist, Lucas Yoo, more popularly known in Korea as Yoo Si Jin.

A Twitter user, @JellyBeansCutie, said “Dear GMA, Why Lucas Yoo?? It’s Yoo Si Jin why Lucas? #DescendantsOfTheSun #GMA7.”

Nonetheless, netizens are hoping that the said network will give justice to their favorite drama series.

Descendants of the Sun is a 2016 South Korean Drama series aired originally in KBS2 station starring superstar Song Joong-Ki as Big Boss or Yi Si Jin and Song Hye Kyo as Dr. Kang Mo Yeon.

Song Joong-Ki plays the role of a captain of a South Korean Special Forces Unit while Song Hye Kyo plays a doctor. Their lives crossed in medical mission at the land of Urk where their up-and-down romance begins.

Joong-Ki’s previous drama “Innocent Man” where he is named Maru, and Hye Kyo’s series “Full House” where she is known as Jessie, were both aired in the local network.
