In case you missed it, Disney has just released the second official trailer of the fantasy film featuring the adventures of a big friendly giant and a brave little girl named Sophie.

On Sunday (May 15, 2016), netizens were given a second look at the upcoming movie based on a classic story — The BFG—as the new trailer was released across the movie’s official social media pages.

Combining the work of three of great storytellers, moviegoers will be able to step into the world of the Giant Country, thanks to the expertise of Roald Dahl, Walt Disney, and Steven Spielberg. Viewers will easily fall in love with the adorable bond between the friendly giant and the precocious 10-year-old girl.

The BFG himself, played by Oscar-winning actor Mark Rylance, narrates what the story is about towards the end of the two-minute clip.

“This will be a story of a little gal. There will be great adventures and laughter. Times will be hard and times will be soft. So, hold your breath. Cross your fingers. Here we go!” he said as a montage of scenes to definitely watch out for flashed on the screen.

One of the scenes that drew positive reviews from fans was the Dream Country scene wherein the adventurous duo can be seen collecting dreams that are sent to children. There, BFG explains the magic and mystery of dreams to the innocent little girl who was in awe of what she saw.

Joining Rylance are other well-known names in the movie industry, like Bill Hader, who will be playing the scary man-eating giant (Bloodbottler) and Jemaine Clement (Fleshlumpeater). Ruby Barnhill, Rebecca Hall, and Penelope Wilton also star in the film.

The film’s first trailer was released in early December 2015. Expect The BFG to officially stomp into theaters in August this year.
